With plenty of competition at our annual All Midwest Exposure Showcase, here are the selections for the top players list. While there was much debate, these players showed the most skills and impacted the game in the most ways to help their teams win games.

Sofia Corral (2025): Corral is a skilled point guard that impressed in many facets of the game. The sophomore is smart with the ball in her hands and was able to fill up the stat sheet in both points and assists. A good quick decision running the point, she has a good ability to read the floor and create. While she was able to create her own shot from the outside well, Corral was at her best getting into the defense. She was able to get plenty of paint touches, excelling at finishing all around the paint as well as making pinpoint passes to set up her teammates often.

Page Erickson (2023 Burlington Central HS): Erickson is a skilled guard with some size in the backcourt. She is a versatile player that did a bit of everything at the showcase. At times she was out there handling the ball and running the point well but would also play tough inside. Erickson effectively defender one through four during the showcase. She scored it well off the dribble attacking the basket but also knocked down several threes over the course of the day. An unsigned senior that should be on college coaches’ radars as she has a lot of tools to help win games at the next level.

Rheayanna Ferguson (2026 Glenbard South HS): While only a freshman, Ferguson truly earned her spot on this list with her performance. While the guard scored the ball effectively in a variety of ways putting up big totals in each of her three games, her biggest impact may have come on the defensive end. With her combination of athleticism, quickness, and aggressive play, she was a tough on ball defender that got all over opposing guards shutting them down. Offensively, she was her best attacking the basket blowing by defenders. As well, the 2026 guard displayed a nice passing ability and hit some threes.

Anna Gilbertson (2024 Lake Zurich HS): The junior guard/forward has a such a tremendous blend of skills, strength, and agility. Gilbertson is a highly versatile player that was impacting each game in so many ways. She is a true stat stuffer that can do whatever is needed of her on the floor. As well to being a very effective scorer in a variety of ways, Gilbertson also impressed with her ability to defend and rebound the basketball. She scored the ball very well from all three levels and is a smart playmaker with the ball.

Aria Mazza (2025 Conant HS): Once again at one of our showcases, the sophomore had a tremendous display. She lit up the scoreboard all event with her perimeter shooting. The guard has a pure stroke from the outside with good range and was hitting her shots at a high percentage. Much more than just a shooter however, Mazza is a smart guard that plays well with the ball and was one of the better passers of the showcase.

Tatianna McLaren (2023 Phillips Academy): The unsigned senior is a well-rounded point guard, but made her biggest impact being one of the top scorers of the entire showcase. She is an energetic guard that is strong with the ball in her hands playing through contact battling her way to the bucket. Not only did McLaren get into the paint extremely often but showed a very good ability to finish in traffic on her drives. Plus, McLaren distributed the ball effectively, rebounded well from the guard position, and is a very tough on ball defender.

Danyella Mporokoso (2026 Waubonsie Valley HS): Another freshman who makes this list with a stellar performance at the showcase for herself. One of the more skilled freshmen in the area who exceled on both ends of the floor. A skilled scorer with the ball in her hands who moves well attacking the basket in addition to being able to create for herself from the outside with her tough shot making ability. Not only does she have a high skill level, but she has a high IQ playing well beyond her years.

Lauren Strifling (2025 Homestead HS): While only a sophomore, Strifling has a versatile skill set and knows how to use her skills well. The 5’11” wing showed a nice ability to make plays off the dribble and hit outside jumper as well to playing big scoring around the paint. There is not much on the floor that she cannot do as the sophomore can handle the ball, shoot, pass, rebound, and defend all very well.

Lauren Walsh (2024 Penn HS): Walsh had a staggering performance simply taking the game over at times. The junior is an incredibly dynamic point guard who is so skilled with the ball in her hands. Off the dribble, Walsh was unstoppable attacking the basket. She has an exceptional combination of moves with the ball plus good vision. As well to scoring at a high rate all around the paint, the junior also shot it well from the outside with great range. In addition to her great scoring ability, Walsh also created for her teammates with a very good passing ability on the attack. The point guard has plenty of tools to her game.
