EXAM JAMM STANDOUTS

With 9 games of action Tuesday night, there were plenty of great performances. Here are some of the many standouts of the shootout. 

 

Avery Cartee (2024 Hampshire): There are plenty of different aspects to like from the tools of Cartee. She has good size as a wing standing at 6’1” to go along with some length and a versatile game. Throughout the game, the Whitewater commit showed her ability to shoot the ball, finish it well around the basket, handle the ball, and passes it well. She played a big role in Hampshire’s large win. 

 

Gina Davorija (2025 Glenbrook South): The junior is a do-it-all, stat stuffing guard who played a huge role in her team’s tight victory. The 5’10” guard went for 17 points to go along with 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals. She played with good energy all game long and displayed very good playmaking ability with the ball in her hands. Davorija maneuvers well with the ball in her hands, reads the floor well, and made plenty of good passes. 

 

Aubrey Galvan (2025 Loyola): The play of Galvan was a huge reason why Loyola was able to come away with a two-point victory over a very good Fremd team. The junior point guard is an electric playmaker with the ball in her hands. She is an incredibly quick and elusive with her change of direction ability to be able to beat defenders as well as create her own shot. A real three level scorer who can really hit shots from the outside to finish with 20 points in the win. 

 

Chloe Gonzalez (2024 Glenbrook South): A sniper from the outside, Gonzalez finished with 21 points in the winning effort. She did all her damage from the outside hitting a staggering seven threes in the game with her pure jumper, even with plenty of defensive attention on her. The 5’10” senior guard is committed to DePauw. 

 

Roisin Grandberry (2024 Rolling Meadows): There is much to like about all the tools of Grandberry and they were all on display in this one. The 6’4” post went for 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 blocks. She really works down on the block battling for position and finished the ball at a very high rate utilizing her size and strength to score posting up. Whether in the post or on the perimeter, the senior also showed a good passing ability. Loyola Chicago is getting a good one in Grandberry. 

 

Ariella Henigan (2025 Kenwood): Throughout the game, Henigan was showing off all her great abilities. With her moves, quickness, and tight handle, she excels playing on the attack. All game the point guard was getting into the paint with ease and making plays as she is incredibly difficult to stick with. On her drives, Henigan finished it very well, doing so through contact. On the other end, Henigan is also a very tough on ball defender. 

 

Meegan Fahy (2024 Maine South): In addition to having a strong game throughout, Fahy also came up big in the clutch. The senior guard hit the game winning put back at the buzzer to give Maine South the one-point victory. In the victory, she scored 14 points but did so much more. Fahy can run the point and facilitate, scored it well on the attack, rebounds well from the guard spot, and more. Fahy is committed to SIUE. 

 

Asia Kobylarczyk (2025 Maine South): The play of the junior power forward was a big reason why Maine South remains undefeated and was able to get the one-point win. Kobylarczyk scored 18 points in the winning effort She has some size at 6’0” in addition to good length but still is still mobile. Around the paint she was very active and moves well getting position and finishing everything. A versatile forward who cannot only defend the paint but also played atop her team’s full court pressure defense. 

 

Annika Manthy (2024 Hersey): The play of Manthy was a big reason for Hersey to come away with the win. The power forward has good size standing at 6’3” plus length in addition to good abilities on the floor. Whether it was around the basket or hitting shots in the mid-range, Manthy scored the ball very effectively even with plenty of defensive attention on her. She also rebounded the ball well in addition to being able to defend out on the perimeter and in the paint.  

 

Angelina Panos (2024 Lincoln-Way Central): Panos had a big game for her team leading them with 14 points. The 6’0” forward was very effective scoring the ball around the paint, finishing at a high rate in traffic. Panos is an aggressive rebounder, especially on the offensive end scoring on multiple put backs outworking opponents for the ball. She also showed a good passing ability and moves well defending the interior. 

 

Ashley Schlabowske (2024 Carmel): The senior guard was one of the more impressive players of the tournament finishing with 27 points. When she looks to score, she proved to be very difficult to stop. She is strong with the ball playing on the attack where she did much of her damage but also shot it a high percentage from the outside. Even while scoring in bunches, she proved to be a team player who looks to create for others. 

 

Madison Sears (2025 Libertyville): Sears has continued to take great strides in her game and has developed into a very effective power forward on both ends of the floor. She scored an effective 14 points in Libertyville’s large victory. At 6’2” she scored the ball strong around the basket in addition to blocking several shots and being a very aggressive rebounder. 

 

Skylar Splinter (2024 Prospect): The play of Splinter was a big reason why Prospect was able to come away with a hard-fought win. The 5’11” two guard caught fire in the second half hitting a trio of threes on her way to a 15-point game in the win. 

 

Laney Stark (2024 St. Charles North): While a Green Bay commit on the soccer field, Stark also showed good ability on the hardwood. All game, Stark showed off her point guard tools in addition to her defensive play. The senior is a very tough and aggressive on ball defender who was able to come away with several steals. On the other end, she created well for her teammates in addition to getting all the way to the basket on her way to scoring 13 points. 

 

Coco Urlacher (2025 Fremd): Urlacher is an incredibly versatile player who can really do a bit of everything. She plays big defensively and can match up with both guards and forward alike but offensively displayed great skills. She is one of those players who can battle inside for the rebound and then take it the full length of the court gliding past defenders all the way to the basket. Not only did she score it effectively on the attack playing through contact but also hit shots from the outside to finish with 19 points. A junior who only continues to greatly boost their stock.
