With plenty of competition at our annual Midwest Elite 90 Showcase, here are the selections for the top players list. While there was much debate, these players showed the most skills and impacted the game in the most ways to help their teams win games. 

Quinn Arundel (2026 Mother McAuley HS IL): While only a freshman, Arundel already shows a high basketball IQ and skill level. With her passing ability and court awareness, she was one of the top distributors of the entire showcase. Arundel sees the floor so well and knows how to set up her teammates who just plays a step ahead of the defense. She is also an effective scorer knocking down threes and finishing around the paint in addition to her tough on ball defensive play.

Taylor Davidson (2025 Stillman Valley HS IL): Davidson was one of the top scorers of the entire showcase. Not only did she lead the event in made threes, knocking down three after three with deep range and great form but also scored it going to the bucket. The lengthy 5’10” guard is a pure scorer with great feel and decision-making ability. She can hit tough contested shots spotting up but also make plays off the dribble getting into the paint often. A sophomore with plenty of tools for the next level. 

Hayven Harden (2025 Downers Grove South HS IL): The sophomore impressed all showcase with all she can do on the floor. A highly impactful and versatile forward that was always making winning plays. She stands at 5’11” but can play so much bigger with her great energy and length to score at a high rate inside and be one of the top rebounders of the showcase. A quality defender that can match up with nearly anyone on the floor with her athleticism and quickness. Harden is already a very impactful player who shows even greater upside. 

Ariella Henigan (2025 Kenwood Academy IL): The sophomore is an absolute playmaker on both ends of the floor that impacts the game in so many ways. Even while standing at 5’8”, the athletic guard was one of the leaders in blocks for the entire showcase as well as steals. She also scored it very effectively attacking the basket strong and finishing at a high rate in traffic in all three of her games. Play after play, Henigan simply outworked and outhustled everyone on the floor to make plenty of plays. 

Diann Jackson (2025 Kenwood Academy IL): As well to being a force in the paint at 6’2” with her strength, Jackson also showed off plenty of skills throughout the showcase. When she wanted, the sophomore could just use her physicality inside to overpower opponents to score right through defenders or grab every board near her. As well, Jackson showed a good ability to attack the basket and hit mid-range jumpers off the dribble. She has such a high ceiling with her size, agility, and skills. 

Danyella Mporokoso (2026 Waubonsie Valley HS IL): Even as just a freshman, there are so many tools to like about the well-rounded guard’s game. Whether it be scoring, distributing, locking down the ball, rebounding, Mporokoso got it done at a high level. Not only skilled, but she also plays with plenty of energy and has great feel. She excels as a playmaker with the ball in her hands with her handle and quickness creating for teammates and getting all the way to the basket but also shot the ball at a high percentage. Mporokoso is also an aggressive defender that gave opposing guards issues all showcase forcing turnovers. 

Kylee Norkus (2024 Neuqua Valley HS IL): In all three of her games, Norkus could just not be stopped on the offensive side of the floor. Whether she was using her smooth jumper from the outside off the dribble plus spotting up or good moves off the dribble and long strides, the junior was scoring in bunches. While she was one of the top scorers of the camp, if not the top, she also showed off her well-rounded game too with her rebounding, running the point and facilitating, and versatile defensive ability. 

Valerie Richardson (2025 Madison East HS WI): Not only did the sophomore guard score in bunches throughout the showcase but also showed a very good ability to distribute the basketball. She is a dynamic player maker with the ball in her hands. Richardson moves well with the ball having a very good ability to get all the way to basket but can also create her own shot. A high IQ guard who reads the floor so well and always knows where to go with the ball. 

Lauren Strifling (2025 Homestead HS WI): Another showcase and another appearance on this top player list for the skilled and versatile 5’11” wing. Just a complete scorer who was getting it done from all over the floor but also impressed with her tough rebounding and vision. One of the top three-point shooters of the showcase who just was not missing spotting up from deep but also uses her strength to play big and finish in traffic inside.
